I truly love the 4th of July. In my world, it is right up there with Christmas and Thanksgiving. That's saying a lot! Nothing is better than firing up the grills, spending lots of time with family and friends, and being outside. Don't forget the all the festivals and of course... THE FIREWORKS!!
Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts. - Winston Churchill
4th of July has and always will be one of my favorite holidays. I remember as a kid my family and I would wake up at sunrise and head out to Lake Zurich where we would BBQ and hangout for literally the entire day. Now, with a daughter of my own, I'm so excited to start my own traditions. Of course this is going to include amazing firework displays such as the one put on by the Village of Cary this year.
What do you get when you combine warm spring like temperatures and a clear night sky? An inspired photographer itching to get out and shoot! Thankfully this abandoned barn is near my house and gave me the perfect opportunity to experiment and have some fun. Hope you enjoy!
4th of July is easily my favorite holiday. The sun, BBQ, friends, family, and of course... Fireworks! How can you go wrong? To get the celebration started early, I headed over to Lions Park last night to watch this years Fireworks display.
I hope you all have a happy and safe 4th of July celebration today!
Captured a beautiful sunset at Highlands Park in Cary Illinois.
Since high school, one of my favorite summer time activities is playing a round of frisbee golf. Sadly, not much of that is happening during this frigid winter.
