The one thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain!
I was beyond thrilled when this great local band asked me if I'd be willing to come out and shoot one of their shows. I've always loved live music and being able to photograph it has been on the top of my list of things I would like to experience with my business. Thank you to O.N.S.E.T. for giving me this opportunity. I should probably also mention that these guys put on a great show with a set list that included U.F.O., Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss, Van Halen, and Led Zepplin.
With all the extremely hot weather over the past couple days, I was day dreaming about what's right around the corner. FALL!!!! With that being said, I'm starting to work on setting up a fall mini-session weekend for all of you wonderful people. Be sure to check back for more details, and if you want to get a leg up, be sure to email me and let me know you are interested. You'll be first in line as soon as I have more information for what is sure to be another great Miranda Photography event.
A couple weekends ago I had the chance to shoot a couple of events for the Glenview Park District. A nice morning yoga session at the Kent Fuller Air Station Prairie, followed by a dairy breakfast at the historic Wagner Farm, and I ended my day at the opening day of the Roosevelt Aquatic Center. I look forward to working some more events for the Glenview Park District.
Not everything on this blog is business related. This here is simply just a good old fashioned family vacation collection. With Claire at just about 11 months, we decided it was time to test out our luck by bringing a baby onto an airplane. Annnddddd.... she handled it brilliantly! With the plane ride behind us, it was time to enjoy the sun and pool in Ft. Myers, Florida.
4th of July has and always will be one of my favorite holidays. I remember as a kid my family and I would wake up at sunrise and head out to Lake Zurich where we would BBQ and hangout for literally the entire day. Now, with a daughter of my own, I'm so excited to start my own traditions. Of course this is going to include amazing firework displays such as the one put on by the Village of Cary this year.
A couple of shots I took during the Chicago Blackhawks warmups before their March 8th game against the New York Rangers.
